日本第四紀学会（会長：北村晃寿）は、2026年８月20−22日に産業技術総合研究所（つくば市）にて2026年大会（創立70周年大会）を開催いたします。
 
本大会では、シンポジウム講演（口頭発表）と一般研究発表（ポスター）で構成し、第四紀学に関する最新の研究成果や知見を共有し、議論を深めることを目的としています。

場所：国立研究開発法人 産業技術総合研究所 つくばセンター共用講堂（茨城県つくば市東1-1-1）
 開催趣旨：日本第四紀学会創立70周年を祝すとともに、過去の知識の蓄積を踏まえて新たな研究の展開をはかる。

The Japan Association for Quaternary Research (President: Dr. Akihisa Kitamura) will hold its 2026 Annual Meeting (70th Anniversary Meeting) from August 20 to 22, 2026, at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (Tsukuba City).

 The meeting will consist of symposium presentations (oral) and general research presentations (posters), with the aim of sharing the latest research results and insights in Quaternary science and fostering in-depth discussion.

Purpose: To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Japan Association for Quaternary Research and to advance new research based on the accumulation of past knowledge.
